About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cashier to join our team at SUNSET GRILL ALL DAY BREAKFAST RESTAURANT. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Handle customer payments in the form of cash, credit/debit cards, and cheques.
  • Scan items and calculate total payment for goods or services.
  • Provide change and receipts to customers.
  • Stock shelves and maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Assist customers with self-checkout and answer any questions they may have.
  • Monitor the store and ensure that all entrances and exits are secure.
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment where you will be working under pressure to meet customer demands. You will be required to stand for extended periods and be physically active throughout your shift.

Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Basic math skills to handle cash and operate the POS system.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
