About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Banking Associate to join our team at National Bank. As a key member of our Québec team, you will play a critical role in analyzing and structuring complex corporate credit files, providing financial and industry analysis, and supporting senior members of the team on risk management and credit-based financing activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide financial and industry analysis to support credit underwriting and risk management activities
  • Prepare credit underwriting materials for internal credit adjudication
  • Participate in internal meetings and external client meetings as required
  • Collaborate with colleagues in banking, syndications, capital markets, and risk management to achieve team goals
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in finance, business, or related disciplines
  • At least 3 years of related banking, capital markets, or client advisory experience
  • Superior analytical abilities, knowledge in financial modeling, and comprehension of accounting concepts
  • Demonstrated problem-solving mindset, collaborative approach, and great team spirit
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build meaningful relationships
