Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience or equivalent proficiency in C# and JavaScript programming
- 5+ years of expertise in software testing and architectural design
- 5+ years of experience in database management relevant to software development
- Familiarity with software development frameworks and platforms, including .NET 6 and Angular 12+
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP) is preferred
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
Job Summary
As a Senior Software Developer at Rocket Innovation Studio, you will leverage various programming languages to create, enhance, test, and maintain software solutions that align with user requirements.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, or modify software applications using appropriate programming languages based on product needs
- Update existing software to rectify issues, enhance overall quality and functionality, or integrate with other systems
- Evaluate user requirements to ascertain how software should be constructed or if modifications to existing software are necessary
- Develop and execute automated testing procedures, solutions, and frameworks to ensure software operates as intended
- Translate business requirements and specifications into effective and scalable software solutions
- Analyze and comprehend the capabilities and limitations of data outputs generated by the software
- Engage in design and code review processes
- Assist in providing delivery estimates
- Determine and implement the software deployment process
- Serve as a mentor to junior team members
- Participate in on-call rotations to support business operations as needed
