About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Cloud Engineer to join our team at State Street. As a key member of our AWS Platform engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing best-in-class AWS infrastructure to support our security, governance, and workload requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and build robust, scalable, and secure technical solutions on the AWS Cloud
  • Work with platform architects to define component responsibilities, plan component evolution, and ensure components meet platform needs
  • Develop scripts to automate deployment and management of cloud resources
  • Utilize native AWS services to meet technology and resiliency requirements
  • Drive identity and access, configuration management, and monitoring strategy for AWS
  • Support operational activities to ensure quality and timely delivery of service to cloud tenants
  • Partner with enterprise network team to ensure cloud-to-on-premise networks are resilient and high-performing

Requirements

  • Solid working experience on AWS IAAS for enterprise enablement
  • Automation-focused and engineering mindset
  • Network engineering skills
  • Experience with design and development of solutions across on-prem and cloud for large enterprises
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native design patterns and DevOps principles (Infrastructure as Code)
  • Openness to learning new skills and technologies in a fast-paced environment
