We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at A&W. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food to our customers.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will have previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment and be able to work effectively in a team. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, preparing food to order, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook food to order, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste.
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Work effectively in a team to ensure efficient service and high-quality food.
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues.
- Order supplies and equipment as needed, maintaining inventory and records.
- Clean kitchen and work areas, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit, as needed.
- Package take-out food, ensuring high-quality presentation.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, as needed.
- Short order cooking and food preparation, as needed.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining high-quality food standards.
Requirements:- Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and credit transactions.
