Overview: CB Canada is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Financial Strategy and Analysis to enhance our financial planning capabilities. This pivotal role will involve close collaboration with executive leadership, including the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Commercial Officer, to deliver comprehensive revenue projections, analyze market trends, and provide strategic insights to guide senior management decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct financial planning and analysis efforts in partnership with regional stakeholders, ensuring effective planning, forecasting, and reporting cycles to support business objectives and enhance financial performance.
  • Formulate an advanced analytics framework and utilize quantitative methodologies to address business challenges, transforming data into strategic insights for executive presentations.
  • Guarantee the precision of revenue forecasts by establishing targets that align with forecast accuracy benchmarks.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-departmental teams to deliver marketing analytics and identify opportunities for business transformation.
  • Oversee corporate reporting obligations for the Board of Directors and Executive Team, ensuring clarity and transparency in financial communications.
  • Support strategic and operational initiatives by providing insightful business analytics to inform decision-making across various business functions.
  • Contribute to the organization’s annual planning, budgeting process, long-term strategic planning, and comprehensive financial modeling.
  • Employ a data-centric analytical approach to influence key decisions and assess the financial implications of both strategic and operational initiatives.
  • Engage with colleagues to evaluate and advise on the financial consequences of both short-term and long-term strategic objectives.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree is essential; a Graduate degree in Finance, Business Management, or Analytics/Statistics is preferred.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in corporate or strategic finance within publicly traded companies, with a robust understanding of commercial operations.
  • CFA certification is required, along with expertise in financial analysis tools and diagnostics.
  • Proven ability to effectively collaborate with senior management on financial planning and strategic business initiatives.
