In the role of Co-op Staff Accountant, you will engage in significant audit and assurance responsibilities across various client accounts spanning multiple industries. Collaboration with team members, including senior managers and partners, will be a key aspect of your experience. This co-op role is designed to enhance your skills in a supportive environment that values each employee's strengths and fosters both professional and personal growth. The position will provide valuable exposure to audit and tax processes, equipping you with the practical experience necessary for your CPA qualification.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing notice to reader and review engagements
- Participating in audit processes
- Compiling personal and corporate tax returns
- Developing skills to manage your workload in a dynamic setting
- Handling accounting files comprehensively.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication abilities, maintain positive relationships, demonstrate initiative and sound judgment, and effectively identify and address challenges with practical solutions.
