About the Role

Spectrum Society for Community Living is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting an individual with their daily needs, promoting their independence, and enhancing their overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support with feeding and meal preparation
  • Accompany the individual to appointments and activities
  • Assist with household chores and maintenance
  • Provide emotional support and companionship

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid Class 4 driver's license
