Position OverviewAt Teledyne Gas Measurement Instruments, we are searching for a Technical Support Engineer who is dedicated to delivering exceptional service while possessing a robust technical background, particularly in gas detection technologies. This position is perfect for someone who aspires to be a trusted resource for our clients, providing expert assistance on our diverse range of gas instruments.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality technical support via various communication channels.
- Effectively identify and resolve customer challenges, ensuring optimal satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance customer issue resolution.
- Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions and records.
- Conduct on-site training for customers, with potential travel requirements.
- Perform audits of authorized service centers to ensure compliance with our standards.
- Deliver comprehensive training on product operation, maintenance, and service protocols.
- Assume additional duties as assigned by management.
- A degree in Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Significant experience in gas detection or electronic instrumentation.
- Proven expertise in supporting software applications and engineering processes.
- Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
- Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Prior experience in customer support roles is preferred.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
- Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Adobe InDesign.
- Flexibility to occasionally work late hours to accommodate customer needs.
