Job Summary:

The Retail Sales Associate is a customer service champion that contributes to the high-volume, fast-paced flow of merchandise from the backroom to the salesfloor. This role is a great way to develop skills in the retail industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Service: Greet all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assist with product inquiries, and resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
  2. Merchandise Management: Maintain salesfloor presentation by stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or out-of-date goods, setting up and maintaining product displays, and signing and pricing merchandise.
  3. Inventory Control: Ensure proper handling of claims and returns, secure merchandise, identify high shrink items, and maintain a safe work environment as per Company policies and procedures.
  4. Stockroom Operations: Receive and stock merchandise, utilize equipment appropriately, administer required paperwork, and log and document inventory movements.
  5. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales and customer service goals, and refer service and transactional items to a Customer Service Manager as required.

Requirements:

Age: 16 or older
