Job Title: Senior Business Partner, Health Platforms

Alberta Innovates is seeking a Senior Business Partner, Health Platforms, to play a key role in stakeholder and program management. This position will lead and manage program(s) within the Health Platforms portfolio, addressing system barriers through collective impact and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the management of program(s), including mapping the critical path, ensuring completion of activities and outcomes, and identifying and managing resources.
  • Lead the evaluation and facilitation of investments, creating value-add linkages and partnerships to achieve and maximize potential outcomes and impacts.
  • Act as a resource to stakeholders, overcoming challenges and barriers they may encounter.
  • Develop program(s), including identifying stakeholders, performing needs assessments, and gathering information to support informed decision-making.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a health-related and/or business program.
  • 5-7 years of experience in a research and innovation administration environment.
  • Experience establishing and maintaining good working relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Broad knowledge of the health and innovation environment in Alberta.
  • Knowledge of emerging health technologies, strategies, and policies.
