Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team at TorontoJobs Recruitment Division. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for leading tax planning and advisory engagements, working closely with clients to understand their tax needs and develop effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead tax planning and advisory engagements for clients, including structuring shareholder planning, succession planning, and estate planning.
  • Develop and implement tax minimization strategies and compliance plans for clients.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their tax needs and develop effective solutions.
  • Manage and mentor junior staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, and apply this knowledge to client engagements.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Tax or an accounting designation.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in a tax practice.
  • Completion of the In-depth Tax Course or the Mtax is strongly preferred.
  • Cross border/international tax experience and working knowledge.
  • Proven ability to deliver the full cycle of project management accountabilities.
