Job Title: Financial Administrator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Administrator to join our team at YUKON INC dba WALKER HOME CONSTRUCTION.

Job Summary:

The Financial Administrator will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our construction projects, including preparing general ledgers, journal entries, and bank reconciliations. The successful candidate will have excellent accounting and financial management skills, as well as strong communication and organizational abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare general ledger and journal entries
  • Manage accounts receivable and payable
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and financial statements
  • Perform financial calculations, such as costing and budgeting
  • Store, update, and retrieve financial data
  • Perform clerical duties, such as maintaining filing and record systems
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in accounting and business/management
  • QuickBooks, MS Excel, and MS Word proficiency
  • Ability to multitask, accurate, client-focused, and organized
Work Environment:

The Financial Administrator will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large workload. The successful candidate will be able to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
