Job Title: Financial Administrator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Administrator to join our team at YUKON INC dba WALKER HOME CONSTRUCTION. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing our financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting and Financial Analysis: Perform financial analysis and provide recommendations to management on financial matters.
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration: Manage payroll and benefits administration, including processing payroll, benefits, and other employee-related matters.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years in accounting or a related field.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a financial administration role.
  • Skills: QuickBooks, MS Excel, MS Word, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Work Environment:

Our office is located in a fast-paced environment with a large workload. You will be working under pressure to meet tight deadlines and will be required to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
