Job Title: Financial Administrator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Administrator to join our team at YUKON INC dba WALKER HOME CONSTRUCTION.

Job Summary:

The Financial Administrator will be responsible for managing the company's financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and maintaining accurate records. This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare general ledger and journal entries
  • Manage accounts receivable and payable
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and payroll
  • Invoice clients and collect payments
  • Perform financial calculations and store, update, and retrieve financial data
  • Perform clerical duties, such as maintaining filing and record systems
  • Prepare financial statements and reports
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or equivalent certificate or diploma
  • Accounting and business/management experience or equivalent
  • QuickBooks, MS Excel, and MS Word proficiency
  • Ability to multitask, accurate, and client-focused
  • Excellent oral communication and organizational skills
Work Environment:

This is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large workload. The successful candidate will be able to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
