Graphics Performance Optimization Engineer

In this role, you will leverage your skills in planning, organization, and technical expertise to transform concepts into reality. You will take ownership of your projects, ensuring they are executed to completion.

As part of our expanding Software Development Group, you will work alongside professionals experienced in graphics and compute acceleration, functional safety, and compliance with certification standards. Your contributions will span the entire product development lifecycle, ensuring adherence to relevant regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with Khronos-based conformance test suites for all open standard interfaces.
- Develop robust internal test suites for Vulkan SC drivers and related products to support quality assurance.
- Create baseline drivers and complementary products for deployment on safety-critical operating systems.
- Generate essential artifacts to support certification activities while adhering to regulatory guidelines.
- Follow defined coding standards and participate in the complete development lifecycle, including proof of concept and formal design reviews.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mathematics.
- Experience ranging from 1-8 years in software development focused on accelerated graphics and compute platforms, with a preference for embedded safety-critical environments.
- Strong organizational, communication, collaboration, and team-building skills.
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming and familiarity with 3D graphics and compute APIs (OpenGL, Vulkan).
- Experience in Windows/Linux development and knowledge of performance analysis tools.
- Understanding of safety-critical embedded real-time graphics driver development and relevant architectural constructs.
- Experience with certification compliance artifacts and audit support.
- Familiarity with development tools such as DOORS, RTC, RTRT, Git, and Jira.
