Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Operations Manager to join our team at Top Fleet Transport Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our transportation department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performance Monitoring: Regularly monitor the performance of our transportation department to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Operations Management: Organize and manage daily operations to meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders.
  • Scheduling and Policy Implementation: Implement and adjust schedules and policies to optimize our transportation services.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Create detailed reports for senior management to inform strategic decisions.
  • Financial Management: Manage finances and budget effectively to ensure the sustainability of our operations.
  • Policies and Standards: Establish policies and standards for transportation and goods storage to ensure compliance and quality.
  • Negotiations: Negotiate services and rates with suppliers and partners to secure the best possible deals.
  • Dispatching and Scheduling: Supervise vehicle dispatching and scheduling to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Revenue Monitoring: Set transportation service rates and monitor revenue to ensure profitability.
Support Programs:
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Conduct diversity and cross-cultural trainings for new and refugee employees to promote a inclusive work environment.
  • Youth-Friendly Work Environment: Provide awareness training for creating a youth-friendly work environment to attract and retain top talent.
  • Cultural Competency: Offer cultural competency and awareness trainings for Indigenous workforce to promote understanding and respect.
