  • Policies and Standards: Establish and maintain policies and standards for transportation and storage operations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Negotiation and Contracting: Negotiate contracts with service providers and vendors to secure the best rates and services.
  • Scheduling and Dispatching: Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of transportation resources to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure that goods are available for transportation and delivery.Diversity and Inclusion Support:
    • Cultural Competency Training: Provide cultural competency training to staff to ensure that they are equipped to work effectively with diverse customer groups.
    • Language Support: Provide language support to staff to ensure that they can communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
    • Indigenous Workforce Support: Provide cultural awareness training to staff to ensure that they are equipped to work effectively with Indigenous customers and colleagues.
    • Permanent Position: This is a permanent position with Giant Logistics Inc.
