Job Title: Technical Lead and ERP Architect

About the Role:

Mackenzie Health is seeking an experienced Technical Lead and ERP Architect to play a key role in the implementation of a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. The successful candidate will provide leadership, guidance, and expertise on the selection and implementation of the new ERP system, ensuring existing and future business and technical needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and guidance on the selection and implementation of the new ERP system.
  • Plan and lead the work of technical team members to ensure the successful implementation of the ERP system.
  • Act as the technical liaison between technology and business, coordinating and collaborating with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors.
  • Manage the ERP end-to-end data architecture, designing the technical architecture and ensuring data accessibility, accuracy, and security.
  • Define architecture and technology standards, patterns, and best practices for the ERP.
  • Identify and track assumptions and constraints, ensuring program methodology and standards are being adhered to.
  • Lead the team in conjunction with the vendor for technical requirements, procedures, and infrastructure.
  • Support the ongoing decision-making and adherence to the program timelines.
  • Provide updates to the Director of ERP Implementation & Transformation regarding deliverable/task/sprint completion levels.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary degree in Information Technology Management, Computer Science, or related combination of education and experience.
  • 7+ years of experience as an Architect with ERP application technology solution, architecture covering Applications, APIs, and Systems Integration, data, and cloud.
  • Experience managing local and/or cloud architecture, including system integration, data, and database architectures.
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts into tangible plans.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive initiatives in a dynamic organizational environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and time-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project Management Certification.
  • Certification in Change Management.
  • Experience with legacy systems modernization and decommissioning.
  • Previous leadership roles.
