Job Title: Technical Lead and ERP Architect

Mackenzie Health is seeking an experienced Technical Lead and ERP Architect to play a key role in the implementation of a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. The successful candidate will provide leadership, guidance, and expertise on the selection and implementation of the new ERP system, ensuring existing and future business and technical needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and guidance on the selection and implementation of the new ERP system.
  • Ensure the new system is stable, scalable, and adaptable to the changing needs of the organization.
  • Lead the architecture of cloud-native applications and infrastructures to drive industry-leading practices.
  • Define the technical architecture to ensure performance, scalability, and usability of the system.
  • Contribute to strategic technology directions and define technical continuous improvement objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure the smooth functioning of the ERP system.
  • Manage the ERP end-to-end data architecture and design the technical architecture.
  • Integrate technical functionality and ensure data accessibility, accuracy, and security.
  • Define architecture and technology standards, patterns, and best practices for the ERP.
  • Identify and track assumptions and constraints and ensure program methodology and standards are being adhered to.
  • Lead the team in conjunction with the vendor for technical requirements, procedures, and infrastructure.
  • Support the ongoing decision-making and adherence to the program timelines.
  • Provide updates to the Director of ERP Implementation & Transformation regarding deliverable/task/sprint completion levels.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary degree in Information Technology Management, Computer Science, or related combination of education and experience.
  • 7+ years of experience as an Architect with ERP application technology solution, architecture covering Applications, APIs, and Systems Integration, data, and cloud.
  • Experience managing local and/or cloud architecture including system integration, data, and database architectures.
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts into tangible plans.
  • Plan and lead the work of technical team members.
  • Experience with infrastructure, networking, and security in cloud-based delivery models.
  • Experience architecting/operating solutions build on Azure, GCP, others.
  • Experience in program and project scoping and planning with Agile process and tools.
  • Evidence of strong interpersonal and communication skills, including above-average writing skills, for working with individuals and teams at all levels of an organization.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive initiatives in a dynamic organizational environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to perform the essential duties of the job.
