Overview:
Are you passionate about contributing to a sustainable energy future? DNV Energy is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to enhance our Electrical Engineering team, which is committed to advancing renewable energy solutions and addressing climate change challenges.

Role Responsibilities:
The Senior Electrical Engineer will be instrumental in guiding the team's technical expertise and service offerings. You will collaborate with a talented group of professionals who are actively engaged in renewable energy and energy transition initiatives.

Your role will involve:

  • Providing technical due diligence and advisory services to a variety of clients in the renewables sector.
  • Engaging in technical activities related to electrical power systems, electronics, controls, and instrumentation.
  • Supporting the design and execution of renewable energy projects.

Key Duties:
As a Senior Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating on electrical engineering projects.
  • Contributing to proposal development efforts.
  • Reviewing and assessing electrical designs.
  • Conducting power system analyses.
  • Providing expert guidance on electrical commissioning and safety protocols.

Business Development:
You will also play a role in supporting business development initiatives, enhancing market positioning, and contributing to thought leadership in the industry.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in renewable energy projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of applicable standards and guidelines.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Please note that domestic travel may be a requirement of this position.
