The Ottawa Hospital Research Institute is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Research Assistant III to join our mental health research team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for recruiting participants for ongoing clinical trials and observational studies, collecting and entering data, and performing other study-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit and consent participants for research studies
  • Collect and enter data for clinical trials and observational studies
  • Perform study visits and other study-related tasks
  • Collaborate with research team members to ensure study success

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in a related field (e.g. Mental Health, Health Sciences, Psychology, Epidemiology)
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a human clinical or health research environment
  • Experience recruiting and consenting participants for research studies
  • Knowledge of mental health research, digital health, and/or standardized assessments in mental health and clinical trials

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with vulnerable populations
  • Experience with qualitative research (interviewing, coding, etc.)
