Job Title: Clinical Research Assistant II

Job Summary:

The Ottawa Hospital Research Institute is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Clinical Research Assistant II to join our team. As a Clinical Research Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the conduct of clinical trials and research studies. You will work closely with our research team to coordinate study activities, manage data, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate study activities, including participant recruitment, data collection, and data management
  • Manage study databases and ensure data accuracy and integrity
  • Assist with study monitoring and reporting
  • Collaborate with research team members to ensure study compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Provide administrative support to the research team

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a research environment
  • Experience with clinical trials and research studies
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with electronic data capture systems
  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines
  • Experience with data management and analysis
