About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Helper to join our team at Jomaa's Pizza & Chicken (Downtown Location). As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and safe environment for our customers.
  • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas to ensure a seamless dining experience.
  • Package take-out food and prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet our high standards.
  • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables with a smile and provide excellent customer service.
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars to ensure we have a wide range of options for our customers.
  • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs to meet our quality standards.
  • Handle and store cleaning products safely and efficiently.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas to maintain a well-organized kitchen.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash to keep our kitchen clean and hygienic.
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit to prepare for cooking.
Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
  • Reliability and dependability to ensure our kitchen runs smoothly.
  • Team player with initiative to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
