Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Helper to join our team at Desi Meal Time Indian Restaurant. As a Kitchen Helper, you will be responsible for assisting our kitchen staff in preparing and serving food to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
  • Package take-out food and serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, appliances, and work surfaces.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and sweep, mop, and polish floors.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
Work Environment

Our kitchen is a fast-paced environment where you will be working with a team to provide excellent customer service and prepare high-quality food.
