Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

At AMRITSARI TADKA RESTAURANT AND BAR, we are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen and ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Estimate and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, minimizing waste and optimizing costs.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for future planning.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the chef to prepare food order summaries and ensure seamless execution of menu items.
  • Develop and implement training programs for new staff members, focusing on cross-cultural awareness and culinary skills.
  • Work closely with the management team to create a welcoming and inclusive work environment for all employees, including newcomers, refugees, and mature workers.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of culinary genres and menu planning.
