Job Title: Greenhouse Labourer

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Greenhouse Labourer to join our team at Alberta Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Greenhouse Labourer will be responsible for performing various tasks related to greenhouse maintenance, including cleaning, weeding, and pruning plants. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be able to lift heavy loads, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain the greenhouse, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces
  • Weed and prune plants to ensure optimal growth and health
  • Assist in the application of insecticides and fungicides to control pests and diseases
  • Mix and prepare soils for planting
  • Plant bulbs and seeds in a timely manner
  • Apply fertilizers to promote healthy plant growth
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
  • Clean and maintain equipment and tools
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in a greenhouse or related environment
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
  • Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
