Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate understanding and compassion for individuals striving to achieve a normal life while managing disabilities.
- Maintain an energetic approach to support individuals who enjoy an active lifestyle.
- Exhibit calmness and provide reassurance in various situations.
- Show resilience in helping individuals establish boundaries for their safety.
- Communicate effectively and supportively with families, colleagues, and the individuals receiving support.
- Assist with personal care and daily living skills, providing motivation and encouragement.
Qualifications:
- A genuine interest in pursuing a Community Support Worker Level Three qualification or higher; we offer support for your professional development.
- Experience in supporting individuals with disabilities, mental health challenges, or complex behaviors is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated reliability, commitment, and enthusiasm for working with individuals.
- A valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Proficiency in using computers, including software such as Word and email.
