Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Reception Agent & Guest Services Coordinator to join our team at Compass Canada. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for creating a warm and welcoming environment for our employees, executives, and visiting clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all office visitors, ensuring a positive and engaging welcome experience.
  • Coordinate space reservations and guest registrations from the main reception desk, ensuring seamless communication with internal stakeholders.
  • Work closely with facilities and local technology teams to ensure a flawless in-office experience, including coordinating with external vendors and catering suppliers as required.
  • Register and check in clients and visitors using internal systems, maintaining accurate records and ensuring confidentiality.
  • Assist with planning and communicating office meetings and community events, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Coordinate with 3rd party vendors relating to systems, maintenance, and other services, ensuring high levels of satisfaction for in-office meetings and events.
  • Conduct opening and closing duties, ensuring the reception area is tidy and well-maintained.

  • Share information about the office, building, surrounding areas, transportation, local attractions, and restaurants, enhancing the overall employee experience.

Requirements:

  • Degree or working experience in a luxury hospitality environment, corporate, restaurant, or hotels is considered a strong asset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Resourceful learner with an improvement mindset and strong problem-solving abilities.
