  • Supplier Collaboration: Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and terms to ensure optimal cost and quality.
  • Inventory Management: Track purchase orders, monitor delivery schedules, and ensure on-time delivery to meet production deadlines.
  • Quality Assurance: Assist in resolving any issues related to supply chain, delivery discrepancies, or quality concerns.

Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD an asset.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using purchasing and inventory management software.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles.
  • Familiarity with materials used in manufacturing processes is an asset.
