About the Opportunity

The School of Nursing at Dalhousie University is committed to providing high-quality education and research opportunities in Emergency and Critical Care Nursing. As a faculty member, you will have the opportunity to teach undergraduate and graduate students, mentor and advise students, and contribute to the development of our curriculum.

Responsibilities
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate students in Emergency and Critical Care Nursing
  • Mentor and advise students in their academic and professional development
  • Contribute to the development of our curriculum and educational programs
  • Participate in departmental and university service activities
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have a minimum of a Baccalaureate degree in Nursing, a Master's degree in Nursing and/or another health discipline, and a PhD prepared an asset. You must also have demonstrated a commitment to developing excellence in your teaching and practice, as well as a combination of four to five years' clinical and teaching experience in Emergency and/or Critical Care. Applicants must be eligible for registration with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing.
