- Design, analyze, or simulate electrical circuits or systems;
- Assess client needs to convert them into system specifications and performance criteria for medium to high power projects;
- Maintain and update the technical project documentation;
- Prepare for and engage in design review sessions;
- Evaluate and endorse new concepts against established standards;
- Compile necessary production documentation (BOM, electrical schematics, specifications);
- Facilitate clear communication of technical requirements with clients and project stakeholders;
- Collaborate with suppliers to develop technical solutions;
- Offer technical assistance to design teams.
- A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field;
- Over 5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering;
- Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCad Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, SEE Electrical, EPlan, CATIA (cable and harness module);
- Eligibility for the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (membership is a plus);
- A passion for design, electrical engineering, and tackling technical challenges;
- A preference for working in product development;
- Willingness to travel for short, medium, or long durations;
- Excellent communication skills in French.
