Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical components and systems for our clients in various industries, including transportation, aerospace, defense, and energy.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components and systems using CAD software (Catia V5, Solidworks, Solidedge, Inventor Creo/Pro E)
- Conduct tolerance analysis and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) to ensure accurate and reliable designs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement design solutions
- Supervise and validate the quality of work delivered by the team
- Communicate with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and provide design solutions
Requirements
- DEC in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 5-10 years of experience in mechanical design and development
- Strong knowledge of CAD software and GD&T
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
