Aviation Sales Consultant

Typical Responsibilities

  • Providing outstanding service for an established portfolio consistently;
  • Overseeing the 120-day Renewal Process, which includes report preparation, client presentations, order acquisition, policy evaluations, and timely execution;
  • Setting a benchmark for peers in delivering Aon United service to clients and prospects;
  • Collaborating with team members across various regions;
  • Identifying client requirements and crafting innovative, cost-effective solutions;
  • Ensuring adherence to procedures, client documentation, and communication in line with Aon standards;
  • Coordinating and supervising the account team, developing client service strategies focused on activities and profitability;
  • Leading account strategy and negotiations with underwriters;
  • Expanding existing insurance offerings with clients through cross-selling; nurturing client relationships for enhanced sales and new business prospects;
  • Generating new business and contributing to the development of sales and marketing strategies;
  • Building new connections and relationships with targeted prospects aligned with the Branch's industry segments;
  • Representing Aon in the community, consistently seeking prospects and facilitating lead generation; and
  • Participating in industry events and activities for networking opportunities.

Qualifications for Success

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial risk management, with knowledge of Aviation being advantageous. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential, along with:

  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational capabilities, and the ability to multitask;
  • Level II license required; or obtainable within six months of employment;
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks under tight deadlines;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong digital literacy.
