Work Environment: This role will primarily be based at the North Campus (3 days/week) with at least 1 day at Lakeshore Campus and the option for 1 remote day per week.
Compensation: Full-Time Support Pay Band K: $51.62 per hour
About the SWEL Department:
The Student Wellness and Equitable Learning (SWEL) department is committed to creating a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere where every student can excel.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting in the development of frameworks that encourage outcome-focused and evidence-based methodologies throughout the SWEL department.
- Leading the design, execution, and assessment of educational and training initiatives aimed at enhancing comprehensive student growth and staff performance.
- Creating, delivering, and assessing training sessions and workshops for students, staff, and peers that align with the SWEL Curricular Framework and departmental goals.
Candidate Profile:
Educational Background: Master of Education in Curriculum and Pedagogy, Student Affairs; PhD or EdD preferred.
Professional Experience:
- A minimum of 8 years in a complex and executive-level setting, ideally within the postsecondary education sector.
- Awareness of contemporary challenges and trends in higher education.
- In-depth understanding of curriculum design and evaluation methods.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and project management expertise.
- Proven experience in curriculum development and assessment practices.
