Veterinary Cardiologist Position

VCA Animal Hospitals is seeking a skilled and experienced Cardiology Specialist to join our team at our Scarborough, ON location.
About the Role:
- As a Cardiology Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic and treatment services to our patients.
- You will work closely with our veterinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
- Strong leadership skills and a positive team player attitude are essential for this role.
- You will be expected to build strong relationships with clients, referring veterinarians, staff, and the community.
Requirements:
- A valid DVM degree or equivalent, enabling practice in Canada
- Board certification in Cardiology
- License in Alberta or eligibility to be licensed
- Excellent diagnostic skills
- Exemplary customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Language of work: English

We offer referral services in surgery, internal medicine, neurology, critical care, and diagnostic imaging. Our 16,000 sq. ft. facility is equipped with MRI and CT, a mechanical ventilator, and extensive anesthesia monitoring capability. The candidate will be required to participate in some evening and weekend call.
