Job Title: Senior Healthcare Executive

Job Summary:

Fraser Health Authority is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Healthcare Executive to lead our Regional Hospitals and Communities. As an Executive Director, you will provide senior leadership and direction for the development, implementation, and assessment of strategies, program/service objectives, and operations that support patient-focused seamless care across hospital and community settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide senior leadership and direction for the development, implementation, and assessment of strategies, program/service objectives, and operations that support patient-focused seamless care across hospital and community settings.
  • Work in conjunction with the Site Medical Director to optimize the use of healthcare resources (capital, financial, and human) that support targeted outcomes.
  • Lead an integrated health services team with a focus at a systems level to maximize resources and outcomes within approved financial mandates.
  • Ensure strategies and decisions support high standards of quality, best practices, and achievements of outcomes and performance measures.
  • Participate in the strategic planning, future visioning, goal setting, and decision-making processes for the Regional Hospital and its partnership across Fraser Health.
  • Identify short, medium, and long-term objectives, plans, programs, and services.
  • Represent Fraser Health and the Regional Hospital to the community.
  • Ensure other stakeholders are informed and included in community/stakeholder consultations and discussions.
  • Accountable for the annual operating and capital budget for the Regional Hospital.
  • Prepare budget and program recommendations, oversee the performance of programs and budget.
  • Establish monitoring and reporting systems to identify and follow-up on deficiencies in patient care services.
  • Ensure complaints regarding clinical services are appropriately researched, responded to, and appropriate actions put in place.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of quality improvement processes.
  • Maintain partnerships with Foundations to ensure common understanding of objectives and programs needs.

Requirements:

  • Supplemented with ten (10) to fifteen (15) years' recent, related progressively senior management experience in a large healthcare organization.
  • Professional/Technical Capabilities.
