Job Title: Youth Development Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Youth Development Coordinator to join our team at the BC Association of Aboriginal Friendship Centres. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and implementing programs and services that support the development of Aboriginal youth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and implement programs and services that support the development of Aboriginal youth
  • Work with community partners to identify and address the needs of Aboriginal youth
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community stakeholders and partners
  • Provide support and guidance to youth participants in program activities
  • Assess and evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. social work, education, community development)
  • 5+ years of experience working with Aboriginal youth and communities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
