Bakery Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Specialist to join our team at Oh So Sweet Sugar Boutique Inc. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet treats, including cakes, pastries, and breads.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare dough and batters for a range of sweet goods, including cakes, pastries, and breads, according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Bake mixed dough and batters to a high standard.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Prepare special orders and ensure that all products meet our high standards.
- Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods to a high standard.
- Draw up production schedules to ensure efficient use of time and resources.
- Train staff and ensure that they are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
- Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Attention to detail is essential in this role, as is the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Hours of work will be 32 hours per week, with a permanent contract.
- Work language is English.
