Operations Manager

Stord is a leading commerce enablement provider of fulfillment services and technology that powers seamless checkout and delivery experiences for high-volume mid-market and enterprise brands across all channels.
As a General Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of site leaders, exempt operations management, non-exempt associates, and other teams as assigned. You will be accountable for the service and P&L results of the Area of Responsibility (AOR).
Key Responsibilities:- Partner with Talent Acquisition on recruiting and strategic labor planning efforts.
- Manage the operational budget for the AOR, ensuring effective resource allocation, cost control, and profitability.
- Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the talent in AOR.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Site Leaders and Operations Managers, ensuring alignment with company values, mission, and objectives.
- Ensure the safety and security of both staff and inventory by identifying potential risks and implementing measures to mitigate them.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field.
- ~8+ years of management experience in high velocity omni-channel fulfillment operations, with a proven track record of managing multiple facilities or operations with superior outcomes.
- ~ Experience monitoring financial performance within a fulfillment center/distribution center, including cost per order, cost per unit, throughput, orders per hour, and more.
- ~ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience presenting to executives on operational performance.
