Job Title: General Manager Management/Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our Distribution Center team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring safety, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and direct the facility's management team to achieve operational excellence, safety, and quality goals.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, leveraging Lean thinking and activity-based performance metrics.
  • Manage and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities to ensure succession planning and talent growth.
  • Partner with senior leadership to drive standardization of processes, share best practices, and support operational strategy and innovation.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and internal partners.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in a Distribution Center or Fulfillment Center management role, with a proven track record of driving operational excellence and improving performance.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and develop strategic plans to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Experience with Lean thinking, activity-based performance metrics, and process improvement methodologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience and training.
