This role is responsible for ensuring that high-risk and complex accounting transactions adhere to regulatory standards and that financial disclosures are accurately represented in the organization's financial statements.

The individual will be part of a dedicated support team, providing guidance on accounting principles and strategic policy initiatives. This position will enhance accounting management by offering insightful recommendations aimed at improving quality and operational efficiency.
The Senior Manager will advise senior leadership and oversee the implementation of key components of the accounting policy framework.
As a subject matter expert, the individual will provide insights on relevant regulations and policies.
Recommendations will be made regarding policies, standards, and strategies to address identified risks managed by controllers.
Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders will be essential in executing strategic initiatives.
The role will involve prioritizing business needs and determining the optimal sequence for executing business strategies.
The Senior Manager will define business requirements for analytics and reporting to ensure that data-driven insights inform decision-making processes.
This position will lead the execution of accounting policy initiatives, continuously assessing and adapting strategies to maintain high-quality execution.
Monitoring new accounting standards and evaluating their impact on policies and standards will be a critical responsibility.

The role will also involve crafting tailored communications regarding changes in accounting policies and their implications, which may include writing, editing, and disseminating information.

Additionally, the Senior Manager will support the preparation of financial statements and disclosure documents to ensure that consolidated results comply with International Financial Reporting Standards and regulatory obligations.

Acting as a primary liaison with internal and external regulatory bodies and industry organizations, the individual will provide feedback on significant accounting issues and financial reporting challenges.

Reports on accounting policy matters will be prepared for senior management and relevant regulatory bodies as necessary.
The Senior Manager will analyze strategic challenges, dissect data, and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
They will conduct analyses to support the design and development of accounting policy strategies and programs.
This role will involve integrating information from various sources to facilitate more efficient processes, enhanced analysis, and streamlined reporting.
Operating at a group-wide level, the Senior Manager will serve as a specialist resource for senior leaders and stakeholders.
The individual will implement changes in response to evolving trends.

A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience and/or certification in a related field is typically required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

An MBA, CA, CFA, CGA, or CMA is preferred.
The ability to interpret policy directions and realign strategies accordingly is essential.
Candidates should be comfortable managing ambiguity and possess a strong foundation in data-driven decision-making.
