About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager Business Analysis to join our team at Scotiabank. As a senior contributor, you will be responsible for providing expertise in specific business processes and working with all levels of the business to understand current processes and identify alternatives for process re-engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interface with all levels of the business to understand current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Work with IT clients to gather requirements, map business processes, and facilitate business and IT collaborations.
  • Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of Bank processes, business units, and accounting and budgetary processes.
  • Collaborate with multiple technology groups and vendors to ensure that applications, integrations, infrastructure, and security architectures meet evolving business requirements.
  • Recruit, manage, and supervise business analysis/systems specialist staff, setting performance expectations, monitoring performance, and providing performance feedback.
Requirements
  • Relevant degree and/or proven IT experience with an emphasis on highly complex systems/business initiatives.
  • 10-15 years of IT and business industry work experience, including at least 3 years of experience in managing teams or projects.
  • Expertise in complex business and technical processes and their implications across the enterprise.
  • Thorough knowledge of Bank processes, business units, and accounting and budgetary processes.
