About the Role

Interior Health Authority is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the development and implementation of large corporate-wide and provincial clinical and business electronic systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop project documents, including charters, schedules, and end product specifications, in collaboration with project sponsors.
  • Create comprehensive project plans, incorporating risk management, business continuity, and interdependencies, with input from user groups and service providers.
  • Direct project activities, guiding and mentoring team members, and preparing and managing project operational and capital budgets.
  • Foster relationships with key internal and external partners to address project-related issues.
  • Manage project staffing functions, including daily assignments, recruitment, hiring, performance management, and performance evaluation.
  • Develop and implement standards for service and performance, evaluating and effecting changes as needed to improve services and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Negotiate contract terms and pricing with software vendors and external service providers, and resolve complex service issues.
  • Manage the process of change in project-affected areas across Interior Health Authority.
  • Advise other project managers on project management best practices and standards.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $86,398 to $124,197, with salaries established within the minimum and maximum based on consideration of qualifications, experience, and internal equity review.
