About the Role:
We are looking for a seasoned Senior QA Engineer with a focus on Native Mobile Applications Testing to enhance our dedicated team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of superior mobile applications through rigorous testing and quality assurance protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive end-to-end testing for Native mobile applications, which includes planning, developing test cases, executing tests, and managing defects.
- Foster a customer-centric culture to strengthen client relationships and utilize broader organizational knowledge.
- Evaluate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) projects to assess the risks associated with code releases, considering potential impacts on multiple projects.
- Develop UAT test plans and documentation based on risk assessments to optimize testing efficiency while adhering to established policies and standards.
- Collaborate with project teams throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure that both business and technical requirements are met.
- Enhance application and process knowledge within UAT; provide training on systems and methodologies to fellow analysts as needed.
- Maintain a current understanding of various banking applications, UAT code configurations, and integration processes; offer technical guidance to development teams.
- Execute automated test scripts, analyze logs, and validate results, making necessary adjustments to automated test cases.
- Recognize the importance of the organization's risk appetite and culture in daily operations and decision-making.
- Strive for operational excellence in alignment with organizational values and compliance requirements.
- Promote a high-performance culture and contribute to an inclusive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as computer science or engineering.
- Over 7 years of experience, preferably in a banking context, with a strong focus on testing Native mobile applications (both Android and iOS).
- Hands-on experience with digital trading platforms and a solid understanding of the order placement process.
- Experience in Wealth Management, particularly in Trading and Portfolio Management.
- Proficient in testing order management and trading applications.
- Deep knowledge of mobile application testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
- Experience with automation testing frameworks and tools, including Playwright and Appium.
- Familiarity with accessibility testing tools such as VoiceOver and TalkBack.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a solid grasp of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Proficient in using JIRA, Confluence, and HPALM for project management.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively address project-related challenges.
