Your role and contributions:

  • Oversee assigned aircraft maintenance personnel and manage the daily operations of the aircraft maintenance department, focusing on safety, scheduling, staffing, and quality assurance.
  • Promote a safe working environment by managing a safety and security program.
  • Execute supervisory tasks including performance management, timekeeping, recruitment, terminations, and leading daily meetings.
  • Coordinate the execution of all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with Repair Station and Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) in all work performed.
  • Monitor safety requirements for housing and facilities, reporting any deficiencies.
  • Engage with clients regarding Aircraft Maintenance as necessary.
  • Identify and share best practices while advocating for continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage databases and reporting to ensure labor efficiency aligns with work orders.

Essential skills, knowledge, and experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in aircraft heavy/line maintenance and inspection processes.
  • Leadership experience, preferably in Aircraft Maintenance.
  • Possession of an A&P certificate or certification under FAR (part 65).
  • Familiarity with aircraft inspection systems and procedures.
  • Knowledge of Environmental, Health & Safety regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership and coaching skills with a focus on employee development.
  • Excellent organizational and planning capabilities.
  • Proficient in computer skills.
