About the Role

Ganotec, a full-service heavy industrial contractor, is seeking a seasoned Mechanical Superintendent to lead our projects in Eastern Canada. As a key member of our team, you will oversee the coordination and planning of projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement daily plans for foremen and crew activities
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution
  • Direct discipline craft supervisors on site, promoting a culture of safety and quality
  • Conduct daily inspections to ensure work meets company standards
  • Provide job safety training and awareness for personnel
  • Establish and manage budgets, ensuring cost control measures are in place
  • Develop and maintain quality standards, ensuring all work meets company expectations
Requirements
  • 8+ years of construction experience, with 3+ years in a Mechanical Superintendent/Leadership capacity
  • Proven ability to oversee multiple disciplines, including steel, piping, and mechanical
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational, administrative, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in French (written and verbal) is required; working knowledge of English is considered an asset
