Food Service Manager

Steele Foods Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent service.
- Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
- Hire and Manage Staff: Hire and manage food service staff, ensuring that they are qualified and experienced in their roles.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Prepare Budgets and Reports: Prepare budgets and cost estimates, as well as maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Establish Work Schedules: Establish work schedules for staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Work Setting: Coffee shop environment.
- Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods, walking, and physically demanding work.
