Dawson Group is seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Inspector to uphold and verify that quality benchmarks and protocols are adhered to in accordance with regulations and client requirements.

In this capacity, you will be an essential part of the Dawson Group, occupying a temporary, full-time role as a Quality Assurance Inspector, reporting directly to the Quality Manager. This position is pivotal within the Dawson Group Quality Assurance Team and is integral to our Quality Management System (QMS). The ideal candidate will collaborate effectively with both internal and external clients, delivering expert quality services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


• Overseeing and coordinating inspections of operational activities


• Producing daily reports for completed work and analyzing aggregates/asphalt


• Maintaining precise and comprehensive records in line with the QMS


• Engaging at all organizational levels to enhance processes and procedures


• Addressing incidents of non-compliance


• Traveling regularly as necessary to various job sites


• Effectively communicating with stakeholders, crews, supervisors, and the public


• Performing additional responsibilities relevant to this role as required

QUALIFICATIONS


• A combination of Engineering technologist certification or equivalent / At least five (5) years of experience in road maintenance and/or construction


• Familiarity with MOTI specifications, Master Municipal Construction Documents (MMCD), and ISO 9001:2015 QMS standards


• Strong leadership capabilities, managerial experience, and analytical skills


• Excellent communication and organizational abilities


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
