Electrical Applications Engineer

At SoloPoint Solutions, we're seeking a highly skilled Electrical Applications Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, gathering valuable customer insights, and ensuring seamless alignment between our engineering team and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional external and internal customer service, making customer satisfaction our top priority.
  • Gather customer insights through conversations, observations, and feedback analysis, working closely with our sales team to identify high-potential fits for our portfolio.
  • Ensure alignment between our products and customer specifications by leveraging a comprehensive understanding of world-class design principles, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Prioritize customer engagements by reviewing inquiries and working closely with our Sales team to identify high-potential fits for our portfolio and specific requirements.
  • Collaborate effectively with our commercial operations team, sales managers, and project managers to strategically plan, prepare, and execute deals in complex sales cycles.
  • Skillfully match customer requirements with proposed standard or customized solutions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering required, Master's Degree preferred.
  • Professional Engineering License preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience as an Applications Engineer in the electrical equipment manufacturing industry.
  • 10+ years of technical experience with power equipment.
  • Expert-level knowledge of power electrical equipment and UL Standards & NEC requirements.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication, persuasion, and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to travel (Up to 40%).
